What an exciting time in your family! Whether it’s a pregnancy announcement, gender reveal, maternity, fresh 48 or in-home newborn lifestyle session, to photograph the growth of love is one of my favorite things about my career. Having just been pregnant for the first time (closely following the second time -lol), I understand firsthand how important it is to feel beautiful in these images, to freeze these precious moments in time which are otherwise lost, and to tell the story of your growing family through color and black and white images. I remember having my own maternity portraits done thinking I would surely hate them because I was so uncomfortable, but I look back on those images and marvel at how much I love them. I had similar experiences postpartum with both of my boys, and I’m surprised to say that I look at their fresh 48 photos the most often. I would be honored to capture such a vulnerable, emotional, special time in the life of your family! We’ll do a mix of posed images as well as any candid moments that I can capture.
